Brough Fashioned

Pour

  • 2 oz Brough Brothers Signature
  • 1 sugar cube
  • 3 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Splash of cold water
  • Orange peel

Method

Muddle sugar, bitters, and water in a rocks glass. Add a single large ice cube. Pour bourbon. Stir 10 seconds. Express orange peel over top, then drop in.

Pour

  • 2 oz Brough Brothers Reserve
  • 1 oz sweet vermouth
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Brandied cherry

Method

Combine bourbon, vermouth, and bitters in a mixing glass with ice. Stir until well chilled (about 30 seconds). Strain into a coupe. Garnish with a brandied cherry.

Brough Julep

Mint, sugar, ice, bourbon.

Brough Julep

Pour

  • 2.5 oz Brough Brothers Signature
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup
  • 8 fresh mint leaves
  • Crushed ice

Method

Gently muddle mint and simple syrup in a julep cup. Fill with crushed ice. Pour bourbon over and stir. Top with more crushed ice to form a dome. Garnish with a generous mint sprig.

Pour

  • 2 oz Brough Brothers Signature
  • 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup
  • 1 egg white (optional)
  • Brandied cherry

Method

Dry shake all ingredients (no ice) 15 seconds. Add ice and shake hard 20 seconds. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a cherry.

  • 1 oz Campari
  • 1 oz sweet vermouth
  • Orange peel

Method

Combine in a mixing glass with ice. Stir 30 seconds. Strain over a large ice cube in a rocks glass. Express orange peel and drop in.

Brough Toddy

Pour

  • 1.5 oz Brough Brothers Signature
  • 0.5 oz honey
  • 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 4 oz hot water
  • Lemon wheel, cinnamon stick, clove

Method

Stir honey into hot water until dissolved. Add bourbon and lemon juice. Pour into a warm mug. Garnish with lemon wheel studded with cloves and a cinnamon stick.
